OPEN CALL
The first event will take place at Bo Lee and Workman gallery, West End, Bruton BA10 0BH on 6 November from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Readings will start promptly at 7pm.
Acknowledging the difficulty of making work around parenting, we are particularly interested in writing that is evolving, fragmented and incomplete, in first drafts and developing ideas, in pieces that expand genre and form, that embrace uncertainty and experimentation. This might include but is not limited to fiction, non-fiction, poetry, memoir, conversations and sound elements.
Submissions close: 10.10.25
Babe Station Live is a series of literary and art events featuring readings of text-based works by writers, artists and performers who identify as mothers or have experienced child loss. The work does not have to be about motherhood but it is the circumstance in which it is made.
